About me
LEE ARMSTRONG is off to a strong start in 2010 with 6 films and a TV episode. He's begun shooting a lead as Al, the angel of death, in Mori-Dog Movies' comedy feature "Dead End Job," played crime boss Patrizio in "San Souci Showdown," Bill Taylor, a political conspirator in "Silentium Est Aurem," a lethal bartender with a garotte in "Ace of Spades," a government official briefing secret service on a terrorist attack in "As the Crow Flies," the unfeeling boss Mr. P in "Smoking Kills" & the retiring carrier Vic in the webcam series "The Carrier." Lee achieved a career high in terms of quantity of work in 2009 with 19 films and a pilot. Leads include detective Raef Liqour in "Internet Detective Blog: The Case of the Missing Face" that won BEST COMEDY @ the East Carolina Film Festival, a father in a nuclear event in Writeon Prods' short "Save the Last One," a computer specialist who gets caught up in an assassination plot in "Elimination" that is entered in the EAST CAROLINA FILM FESTIVAL & a puppet master in "The Marionette." Supporting roles include a small town mayor in "Off-Ramp to Eden," a 1700s patriot in "Friends in Liberty" which was named BEST HISTORICAL FILM by the North Carolina Museums Council, an impotent swinger in "Single in the ATL," a guy on exercise equipment in "On the Market" that won "BEST ENSEMBLE CAST IN A SHORT FILM" @ New York International Film Festival, a plant supervisor forced to fire a friend in "Black-Eyed Redemption," a music professor in "Nocturne," a gambling boss in "Victor James," a creepy janitor in "President's Day," a flamboyant photographer in "Budz," an abortionist MD in "Infringement," an obnoxious copy guy in "Poor Steve," an abusive father in "Twisted Rage," a businessman in "Blameless" & "Quarters," peacemaker Deputy Witherspoon in "Sins of Ashe County" & a sleazy attorney in the pilot "The Tracks." It's been great fun & hard work. No one does this alone; and I've met so many wonderful people that make me feel I've been truly blessed. I have degrees in theatre from U of Iowa (MA) & Illinois State U (BS). I teach theatre & acting for the camera @ Pitt Community College in Greenville NC. My most influential acting study was with Jeremiah Comey Studios in Los Angeles. I'm currently on leave from SAG/AFTRA/AEA. I'm represented by STW Talent in Wilmington, stwtalent@me.com.

Ace of Spades

LEE shot the short silent film Ace of Spades for Shawkinaw Media in Virginia Beach. He played the Bartender, a principal character. Set in a Chicago speak-easy, the Bartender receives a call that there is a snitch in the house and uses a garrotte to off the bad guy. Dir: Jason, Baldwin.

Diana Rein did my headshots when I lived in Illinois. She was in Chicago but I think she is in LA now. Thanks for the compliment!
