Your connection to people and resources in the Wilmington, N.C. film industry

Time: November 14, 2009 from 2pm to 4pm
Location: Cape Fear Playhouse, 615 Castle St.
Event Type: class
Organized By: Michele Seidman
Latest Activity: Nov. 7, 2009
Seasoned actors and new talent alike will be able to get training in various areas of stage and camera work.
The economy buster training is a way to help you out without costing an arm and a leg. These two hour seminars would normally range between $60-$100 and more. Instead these classes will run for a suggested donation of $10 per person. If you can contribute more, it is welcome because part of the proceeds will go back to Big Dawg. If you only have a few dollars to throw in the till, you will still be welcome.
This session is designed for parents and guardians of minor children entering the business. It includes all of the information from the ‘How to Enter the Film Industry’ but is set up to teach the parents methods to promote their children without becoming stage parents. If you want to help your minor child in this industry, this seminar is a must. Few parents are aware of how they are viewed and you can further your child’s progression if you are armed with the behind the scenes look at the ‘stage parent’.

Reason for Economy busting: Times are tight for all of us but Michele is particularly exhausted with all of the scams and outdated information out there. She hopes this will help people build their dreams with tried and true methods that don’t break the bank. These seminars will be one of the most positive things you can do for your career.
